THREADED VISIONS: CONTEMPORARY EMBROIDERY FOR SUSTAINABLE FUTURE

In the 15th edition of India Art Fair, 2024 held from 1st February to 4th February 2024, MASH presented Threaded Visions: Contemporary Embroidery for a Sustainable Future, embroidered by Milaaya Embroideries and curated by Arshiya Lokhandwala.

The exhibition addressed the concerns of sustainability and climate change through its embroidered works. The selected works of the artists reflecting the above themes were embroidered by Milaaya Embroideries’ exceptionally skilled craftspersons who not only showcase the richness of embroidery as an artform but also the remarkable tradition and skills from India.

The Exhibition allowed the viewers to experience our deep interconnection and interdependence on the world through its intricately embroidered works.
