We bring to you a brand new series by MASH podcast. In this series, we will highlight the major styles of temple architecture that were prevalent in mediaeval India — exploring the intricacies of the most complex of styles; Nagara, Dravida, and Vesara, amongst others.
The podcast dwells upon the Buddhist architecture that led the foundation of a dedicated place for devotion followed by the philosophy of “sacred”. Further, we will focus on the prominent religions of India, viz Buddhism, Hinduism, and Jainism, which became the ground for the construction of several sacred sites.
