VENICE ART BIENNALE, 20 APRIL – 24 NOVEMBER 2024

The 60th edition of the Venice Biennale, known as “the Olympics of the art world”, will open on April 20. The international art exhibition will showcase 333 artists under curator Adriano Pedrosa’s central theme “Stranieri Ovunque” or “Foreigners Everywhere”. The Venice Biennale is one of the biggest and most prestigious art fairs in the world. It reportedly attracts over six lakh visitors each year, including some of the most distinguished names in art. The Exhibition, including 88 National Participations, will have its primary focus on the Nucleo Contemporaneo, with also a Nucleo Storico, gathering works from 20th century Latin America, Africa, the Arab world, and Asia. The exhibition will focus on artists who are themselves foreigners, immigrants, expatriates, diasporic, émigrés, exiled, and refugees.
